The Summa Health System Behavioral Health Institute is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and driven psychologist to join our well-established Department of Psychiatry team of 40+ clinicians.
The selected candidate will become a member of the Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of 400+ physicians employed by the Summa Health System.
Summa is also home to Juve Family Behavioral Health Pavilion, a new, state of the art, facility that is dedicated to delivering a full continuum of behavioral health care.
Summa's vast healthcare system offers psychologists a variety of opportunities to practice in many different medical and behavioral health settings.

Opportunity Highlights
- Employed position offering competitive compensation and comprehensive benefit package.
- Practice includes dedicated support staff.
- Client referrals will come primarily from Summa Health Medical Group’s team of psychiatrists, medical providers, fellow psychologists, counselors, social workers, and behavioral health therapists.
- Duties will include providing diagnostic evaluations, individual psychotherapy, and group interventions for a demographically diverse range of clients in a outpatient, specialty medicine, and other hospital clinics / settings.
Services will be delivered in person and virtually.
The selected candidate will also have opportunities to provide psychological testing, participate in the supervision and training of graduate-level psychology students, and assist with program development and evaluation.
Candidate Requirements
- Ph. D. or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
- Completed an APA-accredited clinical internship
- Licensed or license eligible in Ohio
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications
a. Ability to effectively teach medical students, residents, nursing staff and medical staff regarding aspects of clinical psychology.
b. Ability to conduct research under established protocols and effectively demonstrate findings.
c. Demonstrated ability to effectively develop new programs.
