Oncology / MS RN 7th Floor - 12 hr NOCS - ThedaCare Appleton - Appleton, WI

AUTO OFFER UNIT

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : ASAP

Guaranteed Hours Per Week : 36

Shift Requirements : 12hr NOCS

Primary location : ThedaCare Appleton 7th Floor

Weekend : Every other weekend

Holiday Requirements : Holiday rotation

Float Requirements : Floating mostly between 6th / 7th floor (MS / Oncology) - Floating throughout the facility and to all ThedaCare Facilities within a 60 mile radius as needed

On Call / Call Back Requirements : None

Required certifications : WI RN License & AHA BLS & ONC (required); AHA ACLS (preferred)

Minimum 3+ years RN experience REQUIRED

Minimum 2+ years Med / Surg experience & able to interpret cardiac telemetry REQUIRED

Experience Required : M / S patient population & Oncology / neutropenic patients.

Skillset Required : Port utilization, chemo administration, bipap / cpap, initiating & titrating heparin / insulin drips

Charting Experience : EPIC within the last 2 year REQUIRED

Patient Ratio 6th / 7th floor : 1 : 5-6 with support staff, Ratios decreased to 1 : 3-4 with Primary care / Chemo Admin

Beds : 6th floor (medical patients) - 15 beds & 7th floor (higher acuity) - 21 beds.

No new travelers - at least one completed contract REQUIRED

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
