Pan-Pacific Mechanical is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design and implement robust API infrastructure supporting enterprise-wide digital transformation. This foundational role will build and maintain our Portal backend services, connecting internal systems with modern web applications and third-party integrations through scalable Go microservices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Go experience (or strong backend skills in Python / Java with a desire to learn Go)
• Expertise in RESTful APIs, OAuth / JWT, Docker, and CI / CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Azure, Graph API, and frontend collaboration (React / TypeScript) strongly desired
• Proficiency in performance optimization
• Strong experience working with relational and non-relational databases, preferably SQL Server
• Proficiency with cloud technologies, specifically Azure
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks while meeting tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skills to assist in value engineering ideas
