Job Overview :

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking Field Engineers for immediate and 2025 start dates. This is a site-based role. The Field Engineer will oversee daily site operations under supervision of the Trade Superintendent, Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Site Manager. Responsibilities include managing project costs, safety, schedule, and quality; providing technical support for power generation construction projects; supporting engineering review, procurement, construction, and start-up of electrical systems; guiding installation, enforcing QA / QC, supporting scheduling, and owner communication. The role also involves reviewing and submitting engineer as-builts and project system packages, assisting superintendents with supervision of personnel and subcontractors to ensure safety, productivity, quality, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor daily production and costs, prepare and review reports for planning and analysis.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers; maintain professional relationships and document interactions.
• Understand and manage contract and purchase documents; validate quantities and communicate discrepancies for billing.
• Manage project equipment and materials inventory.
• Ensure safety compliance and assist in safety management and risk programs.
• Familiarize with project design documents, specifications, and quality plans; assist in quality management and documentation.
• Participate in meetings, document notes, and generate reports.
• Coordinate permits, utility work, and land agreements.
• Verify daily reports from foremen and subcontractors for accuracy.
• Analyze field information, conduct project kick-off and close-out activities.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and document control processes.
• Support work plan preparation, monitor consumables, and update work matrices.

Environmental Responsibilities :

This role includes environmental compliance responsibilities, such as ensuring adherence to environmental procedures, training staff, monitoring site conditions, and coordinating with environmental agencies to meet regulations and minimize impact.
