VP Engineering, Continuous Integration, CRM Core Application

Overview
Salesforce development for our CRM Core application is evolving and growing to meet the needs of the internal developers as well as the business and ensure optimization, predictable execution, and autonomous reliability. As the VP of Continuous Integration, you will be in charge of the strategy involving fully implementing modern development practices and eliminating build and submission friction, while leveraging AI and agentic capabilities to address architectural dependencies. You’ll partner with senior engineering, security, and product leaders to shape the next generation of tooling and paved paths that enable engineers to deliver innovation faster, with higher quality, and at massive scale.
Responsibilities
- Drive modernization of the Salesforce quality pipeline and significantly enhance the Core Developer Experience.
- Oversee major strategic initiatives to drastically improve Release and Test Quality.
- Drive adoption of AI / Agentic workflows across the CI workflow and integrate existing tools to leverage AI in each step of the Core software development lifecycle.
- Eliminate non-deterministic tests, automatically fix failures, and route issues effectively.
- Provide strategic oversight of organizational restructuring to ensure the CI system is scalable and stable.
What We’re Looking For
15+ years of progressive engineering management experience, including 5+ years leading senior engineering leaders at scale.Build, mentor, and inspire a world-class team of engineering managers and developer advocates. Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning while growing future engineers.Proven track record managing developer platforms, internal tooling, or infrastructure products for large engineering organizations.Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, CI / CD, and modern cloud-native engineering practices.Experience with AI and ML to solve large-scale problems.Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across a complex, matrixed organization.Experience driving large-scale transformations that significantly improved developer productivity, velocity, and satisfaction.Exceptional communication skills, comfortable presenting strategy to executives and discussing technical tradeoffs with engineers.AI literate with hands-on ability to go from product requirement to prototype.BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.Success In This Role Looks Like
