Location : Rock Hill, SC 29732 (South Carolina nursing jobs)

Facility Setting : Surgical Unit – General OR, Trauma, Ortho (preferred)

Assignment Type : Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse

Start Date : October 20, 2025

End Date : January 18, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour evening shifts (11 : 00am – 11 : 30pm)

Hours per Week : 36

Call Requirement : 1 call per week

Weekend Requirement : 1 weekend per 6 weeks

Float Requirement : As needed within skillset

Unit Size : 15-bed Surgical Unit

Nurse-Patient Ratio : 1 : 1

Charting System : Cerner

Scrub Color : Navy blue

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (South Carolina or compact state)

BLS certification (required for all healthcare jobs)

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience

Strong clinical skills in General OR; trauma and orthopedic experience preferred

Ability to float to other clinical areas within your skillset

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to surgical patients in a fast-paced operating room environment

Assist surgeons and surgical technologists during procedures

Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition

Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records

Participate in call rotation and provide weekend coverage as scheduled

Float to other units as needed within your clinical expertise

Maintain infection control and patient safety standards in accordance with healthcare regulations
