Accounting Manager

The purpose of the Accounting Manager is to manage and support the Accounting function of the Company. This position will report directly to the Accounting Director. Responsibilities / Duties :

• Management of day-to-day accounting functions including AP, AR & GL
• Management of month & year end closing process
• Preparation of month end schedules, reconciliations & accruals
• Preparation of internal financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow)
• Assist with parent company monthly & quarterly reporting
• Ad hoc reporting & analysis
• Assist with external audit preparation & requests
• Research internal audit results
• Manage & implement a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
• Preparation of various tax filings : including Annual reports, Sales Tax, Fuel Tax, Property Tax
• Review & oversight of payroll processing for multi-state & international payroll
• Preparation of internal payroll reporting & analysis
• Coding expert for all customer-specific billable transactions.
• Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices.
• Performs other duties as required to support Accounting Department.
