About The Position
We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in New Hampshire starting Sep 29, 2025. This role offers day shifts, Monday through Friday, providing care to students under 18 and managing a range of common medical conditions in a college clinic setting.

- Schedule : 8am - 4 : 30pm, Monday-Friday; walk-in hours from 9 : 00am - 9 : 30am; scheduled appointments from 1 : 00pm - 3 : 30pm; emergencies as needed during clinic hours
Responsibilities and Duties
Evaluate and treat common conditions including cold and flu, yeast infections, asthma, diabetes, sinus and other infections, and UTIsAddress rare cases such as lice, scabies, and minor wound care including rashes, burns, and liquid suturesDiagnose and prescribe antibiotics as appropriateRefer complex or extensive cases to the emergency department and remain onsite until ambulance arrivalCoordinate with students’ primary care providers and college administration as neededOrder and manage laboratory tests with a typical 3-5 day turnaroundManage all aspects of patient care independently from intake to discharge without medical assistant supportCollaborate with the clinic office admin assistant to ensure smooth clinic operationsAdditional Information
Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in New HampshireRequired board certification in Family MedicineExperience with Family Practice and treating patients under 18 is essentialInternal medicine experience is not suitable for this assignmentBenefits
