Will consider acute Oncology / Hematology experience. Clinic WILL ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers Locals are ACCEPTED REQUIRED Certs : BCLS REQUIRED Skills : Nurses in the clinic room patients, perform phlebotomy, central line care, assist with bone marrow biopsies, vaccinations, EKG, phone triage, facilitate patients to be scheduled appropriately for infusions, patient education / phone calls, and case management. May be working with both the malignant and non-malignant hematology teams. PREFERRED Skills : Chemotherapy and infusions are NOT done in this setting. We do not administer chemo or infusions in the clinic. PREFERRED Certs : ONS, BMTCN, OCN JOB DETAILS : SHIFT : 5x8 Hours (M - F 8a - 5 : 00p) Monday through Friday, 8 : 00-5 : 00 13 Weeks Float Requirement : NONE. Weekend Requirement : NONE. PATIENT DIAGNOSES : Adult hematology patient population - both malignant and benign hematology only SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS : Bone Marrow biopsies, manual diffs, triage, phlebotomy, central line access, patient education, patient assessment - Manual diffs are done by lab personnel not RNs; case management PATIENT GROUPS : Adults - needs EPIC Dimensions ambulatory clinic supervised access (ED00005) and NHMG / Oncology clinical orientation (not inpatient / acute orientation); will need API access to clock in and out UNIT SYSTEMS : EPIC SCRUBS : Not provided.
