Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – PCU Registered Nurse

Unit : Neuro-Progressive / Stepdown (PCU)

Specialty : Neurology, Progressive Care

Shift : 12 Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025, End : 1 / 27 / 2026)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1990–$2130

Dress Code : Navy blue scrubs required

EMR : Epic EMR experience required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (New York state eligibility required)

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Neuro-Progressive, Stepdown, or ICU nursing jobs

Epic EMR experience required

Ability to complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam upon offer

Strong clinical skills in neurological and progressive care settings

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

PCU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Neuro-Progressive / Stepdown unit

Monitor and assess neurological status; respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR

Float to other hospital units as needed to support patient care

Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
