Providing end-user support to personnel utilizing ITD IT systems.
Triaging help desk tickets for a broad range of service requests to include file transfers, assistance with desktops and peripheral equipment, account management, and other user-focused incidents.
Installation, accountability, maintenance, and decommission of physical desktop, data center equipment and other IT assets.
Performing general operations & maintenance for COTS / GOTS hardware and software.
TS / SCI with Poly. Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Systems Engineering, or a related IT discipline . An associate's degree with seven years of experience may be substituted.
Certification : Current DoD 8570 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+, SSCP ) or the ability to obtain one within 180 days.
System Experience : Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
End-User Support : Experience providing help-desk support for common desktop and server issues and with installing and configuring physical equipment.
Network & Software Management : Ability to provide technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures, including performing software installations and upgrades.
Documentation & Compliance : Experience with Intelligence Community Directive ( ICD ) 503 and system Assessment and Authorization ( A&A ) procedures / processes, as well as writing clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documentation.
