As a Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and / or other unwanted behavior.

Communicate clearly with team members, management, and local authorities as needed regarding incidents or concerns within the location.

Document observations, incidents, and / or any security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

Assist customers, employees, and / or visitors with directions, information, and general inquiries while maintaining a visible and approachable presence.

Support loss prevention efforts by observing for suspicious activity and reporting findings to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
