About Us : Our client is a large multi-specialty staff model HMO seeking a BC / BE Cardiologist to join their Palm Coast & Ormond Beach facilities. Office hours are flexible outpatient only no call. Most facilities offer Behavioral Health Cardiology Diabetes Education Endocrinology Extended Hours Care Center Pain Management Primary Care Sports Medicine X-ray Lab and Pharmacy all onsite. Cardiology Physician Compensation Package :
- $450000 - $475000 (Based on Experience)

Requirements :
Board-certified in CardiologyEligible for licensure in the state of FloridaStrong clinical and communication skills with ability to work effectively with patients providers and staffAbility to collaborate with multidisciplinary team and make informed decisionsProficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and practice management systemsResponsibilities :
The Cardiology Physician will provide out-patient comprehensive cardiology services including preventive and health maintenance services acute and chronic care clinical evaluation diagnosis and consultation services to clinical staff and outside specialists who see the event hospitalization is required we will refer to hospitalists at local hospitals and will monitor care upon discharge. Additional responsibilities include :
Comfortable with overseeing advanced practice practitioners (PA / ARNP / DNP) for a team-based model of care and participate in development of care pathways that leverage these providers within the department.Strong communication presentation active listening and interpersonal skills required.Comfort and skill with platforms common to the development and presentation of quality and performance data.Ability to build rapport with medical staff clinical support staff practice leadership and working collaboratively with executive team and internal business units.Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) care management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Prior Epic experience is valued.Comfort in working in a value-based care setting with specific training on risk adjustment insurance benefits and member navigation; onsite training is available for all new physicians joining our practiceKnowledge of local managed care systems and networks is valued.Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems regulatory considerations and insurance benefits.Send an updated resume to
