Purpose

Automation Technicians will support Project Managers and System Engineers with creating, installing, and commissioning PLC / HMI / SCADA based systems, as well as network and device integration work.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Assist with project programming, start-up, and commissioning of new PLC / HMI / SCADA control systems, and maintain existing installations, diagnose faults, perform hardware repairs, and implement programming fixes.
• Help diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site and report findings to Project Management or Operations Leaders via email, SharePoint, or other tools.
• Participate in project kickoff and turnover meetings to understand project scope and finalize documentation.
• Organize and submit control submittals and redlines for as-built drawing creation after review.
• Collaborate with other technicians to develop technical solutions.
• Engage in technician training to stay current on new products, tools, and integrations.
