Manufacturing Operations Manager

Overview

Operations Manager role open for a growing, stable organization in Greenwood, SC. In this role, you'll lead daily production operations, working closely with other management personnel to ensure a safe, efficient, and profitable environment.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong planning and decision-making skills who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You'll be responsible for supervising production teams, managing schedules and resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all production operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards
• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and employees (approx. 30+)
• Monitor production metrics and initiate improvements to reduce downtime and increase throughput
• Partner with management to develop and maintain production schedules and staffing plans
• Serve as an on-floor leader — providing guidance, solving day-to-day issues, and ensuring workflow continuity
• Utilize ERP systems (Global Shop Solutions or similar) for scheduling and reporting
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
