Job expectations
- Teaches language arts content and skills, utilizing adopted course of study.
- Adapts material and methods to develop relevant sequential assignments that guide and challenge students.
- Evaluates each student’s progress toward standard mastery.
- Establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicates these objectives to students.
- Maintains accurate, complete, and correct student records as required by administrative regulations.
- Communicates with parents or guardians, other teachers, and administrators to resolve any behavioral or academic issues.
- Attend professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops to maintain and improve professional competence.
- Completes other duties assigned by administration.
