Gardner Group, a locally-owned property management company, is seeking a skilled accounting professional to join our collaborative, growth-minded team. The Portfolio Financial Accountant will be responsible for the financial transactions and monthly financial statements for a dedicated portfolio of our company-managed condominium and HOA properties.

In the Portfolio Financial Accountant role, you will :
- Manage the Association Dues and Assessments Receivables including the remote deposit and ACH collection of dues / assessments.
- Work closely with the AP Accountant to ensure proper coding of operating and reserve expenses and timely payment of AP invoices.
- Reconcile all bank accounts and balance sheet accounts monthly.
- Prepare the monthly financial statement package including variance analysis reporting for each property in the portfolio.
- Work with the association board members to produce an annual budget for each property in the portfolio.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills / abilities :
Strong proficiency in Windows operating system as well as Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with employee team members and portfolio board members.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a broader team.Ability to maintain a well-organized electronic data and paper document system.Education / Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or BusinessOne - two years relevant work experience
