Job description
Position Summary Information Job Description Summary Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers; sells coffee; conducts coffee grinding and operates brewing equipment, accessories, and supplies; prepares and serves a variety of coffee drinks, along with premade food items. Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum three (3) months related experience
  • Valid Food Handler Certificate required

  • Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
  • Ability to perform many different tasks within the location during each shift
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) or more years of related experience.
  • Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Certification

Job Duty Performs cleaning tasks as assigned in daily opening and/or closing duties to maintain cleanliness standards. Job Duty Observes safety and security procedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines. Job Duty Reports potentially unsafe conditions. Job Duty Treats people with respect; keeps commitments; inspires the trust of others; works with integrity and ethically; upholds organizational values. Job Duty Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
