We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Digital Product Management ready to create and drive the data strategy of improving how Amex manages our customer's critical data. This position reports to the Director of Data Strategy in the Commercial Data Office (CoDO). CoDO is a fast-paced entrepreneurial team tasked with improving existing systems and building new innovative data solutions for our customers, while adhering to regulations and data management best practices. With continuous changes in the regulatory and risk management environment the program this Senior Manager is joining is critical to delivering delightfully interconnected commercial product experiences.
Your primary responsibilities may include :
- Create the strategy, requirements and detailed roadmap for integrating the corporate & business to business product experiences into the new customer legal entity profile data system of record.
- Investigating, synthesizing and briefing the details of current customer experiences for providing profile data through acquisition and maintenance journeys.
- Comparing and contrasting the nuances of customer experiences and data capture today, especially considering how the data lineages operate to power the current experiences.
- Create data flows to visualize data lifecycle from customer input through to end use cases including, but not limited to anti-money laundering and know your customer screening.
- Drive consensus to standardize terms and language related to legal entities and associates (i.e. roles, entity types, industry codes, etc.)
- Responsible for creating product requirements and associated documentation to clearly communicate to delivery team partners.
- Responsible for leading meetings with stakeholders and driving tangible actions with cross functional groups including product, compliance and legal partners.
- Creating documentation for as built solution and training others on the new or changed capabilities.
- Accountable to providing roadmap, status and risk items to program PMO partners.
Minimum qualifications :
Experience effectively working in a matrix organization alongside multi-national and cross-functional teamsProven track record of understanding business challenges and translating them into value-add and technically viable data products and solutionsDirect experience measuring and quantifying business value of projects, features or data quality improvementsKnowledge of the financial services industry and financial crimes regulationsExperience related to organizing data for high performing data platforms, sensitive data elements, structured and unstructured needs.Ability to put enterprise thinking first, connect the role's agenda to enterprise priorities and balance the needs of customers, partners, colleagues and shareholders.College degree in engineering, technology management, analytics or business or equivalent educationPreferred qualifications :
Understanding and experience with the Amex Corporate and Business to Business products.Experience working with technology architects and software development teams including an understanding of iterative development practices.Experience querying databases and creating data models.Experience with data risk management practices.Salary range : $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually bonus benefits
