We are currently seeking a 2nd shift Warehouse Supervisor for a location in Middletown, CT. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure all warehouse associates are adequately trained in various tasks and the operation is running smoothly. This includes effective time management, loading, receiving, unloading, and documentation control. Additionally, this role requires maintaining open communication with managers regarding the progress of both new hires and existing employees as well as product throughout the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Train warehouse associates in time management, loading, receiving, unloading, and documentation control.
• Ensure proper training documentation is maintained and updated.
• Communicate progress of new hires and existing employees to managers.
• Build a strong, cohesive team and foster a positive work environment.
• Oversee the adherence to strict processes and policies within the warehouse.

Work Environment

The work environment is very clean and relaxed, as long as employees perform their duties. Employees will work alongside other material handlers, forklift operators, and inspectors. There is no supervisory pressure or shouting, ensuring a respectful and supportive atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Middletown, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.70 - $27.70 / hr.
