Position : Lead II - Software Engineering

Location : Atlanta, GA 30308

Duration : 6 Months

Job Type : Temporary Assignment

Work Type : Hybrid

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java-based applications
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot
  • Integrate with relational and NoSQL databases including DB2 and MongoDB
  • Work with front-end technologies such as Angular and JQuery
  • Write unit and integration tests using JUnit
  • Collaborate with global teams, participating in code reviews, design discussions, and daily stand-ups
  • Utilize version control tools like Git / Bitbucket for source code management
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of applications

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Core Java development
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate / JPA
  • Proficiency in developing Microservices and Web Services
  • Working knowledge of DB2 and MongoDB
  • Front-end experience with Angular and JQuery
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit)
  • Experience with Git and Bitbucket
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in an onshore-offshore model
  • Willingness to relocate to Wallingford, CT

    • Nice to Have

  • Experience with Spring Batch
  • Familiarity with Docker containers
  • Experience working with AWS Cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of Drools (business rule management)
