Job Description
As Contracts Manager / In-House Legal Counsel, you will work autonomously and as part of the wider business / legal team.
Varied responsibilities include :
- Working on a variety of contracts and agreements - drafting, negotiating, reviewing and administration
- Drafting and negotiating contracts / agreements - domestic & international contracts and NDA's, license agreements, teaming agreements,
- Updating, reviewing and maintaining contract templates and library
- Reviewing internal policies and procedures
- Must have experience in drafting contracts from start to finish
The Successful Applicant
Demonstrable skills and experience required for the Senior Legal Counsel role :
- 3+ years experience in contract work
- Must have experience in drafting contracts - not just editing from template contracts
- Law degree / J.D. beneficial but not essential - paralegal or other relevant experience considered as long as you have had responsibility for drafting contracts
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
- Must be happy to work on-site in the Queensbury, New York, office
