Exciting Opportunity : School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - SLP

Qualifications :

  • Master's Degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
  • Licensed / certified Speech-Language Pathologist in IL
  • SLP - CCC only need apply
  • SLP-CCC with AAC experience is appreciated; school setting experience is preferred.

Role Overview :

As an SLP, you will develop and implement individualized education and treatment programs for students facing communication challenges due to developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. This role offers a chance to work with young learners in a supportive school environment, creating a lasting impact on their communication skills.

Job Details :

  • Schedule : Full-time
  • Dates : August 18, 2025 - May 29, 2026
  • Hours : 7 : 30 am - 3 : 00 pm, Monday - Friday
  • Setting : School
  • Caseload : To be determined
  • In-person only
  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and organize materials, equipment, and environments essential to the speech and language program.
  • Provide communication intervention for students with language, speech, or hearing disorders across various settings.
  • Assess speech and language skills of students suspected of having communication disorders and consult with educators to develop IEP goals.
  • Provide resources, strategies, and training to other team members in communication interventions.
  • Regularly communicate assessment results and student progress with school staff, parents, and the student as appropriate.
