Job descriptionShift timings : 6 : 45 AM – 7 : 15 PM / 6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM. Every other weekend required. Holiday requirement : 2 of 3 major holidays. Low census on-call as needed. Provide care for medical patients including pneumonia, COPD, radiation patients, AKI, and occasional post-op cases (lap chole, appy). Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1 : 5–6 (days) and 1 : 6 (nights). Administer and monitor heparin and lasix gtts (non-titrated). Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Float as needed to Med Surg, stable low acuity in ICU, RDU, and Foothills clinic RDU. Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR. Active RN license. Minimum 2 years of overall RN experience, including at least 1 year in Med Surg / Tele specialty. Recent Trauma Level I or II hospital experience required. Proficiency in Epic EMR (recent use required). Certifications : BLS required; ACLS preferred. Must comply with 100-mile radius rule. No 48-hour guarantees, blocked scheduling, or more than 5 days of RTO. Charge Nurse available each shift (may take assignment if needed). Patient Care Assistants : 1 PCA per 8–12 patients. Dedicated monitor techs (RNs not required to read tele). RT equipment includes Bipap and stable trach management.
