We are looking for :
Demonstrated abilities to manage and execute complex programs
What is the work?
- Executes asset capital programs with partnership from Engineering, Construction, and Facility Management teams
- Directs diagnostic and troubleshooting activities for chronically troubled assets
- Collaborates with facility management and construction teams
- Supports financial and operational analysis of asset inventory
- Prioritizes assets by performance and assists with development of repair / replace plans
- Supports cost negotiation activities with service vendors
- Ensures compliance with best practices for a specific asset class
- Validates asset strategic sourcing strategies
- Researches energy-saving and sustainability options with Engineering and Sustainability teams
- Develops maintenance provider contract terms
- Identifies and optimizes service provider base
- Creates asset and maintenance provider key performance indicators (KPIs) and supporting dashboards
- Maintains annual budget and actively tracks variance to budget for asset repairs
- Participates in vendor performance and accountability review meetings
What is your background?
- A related engineering or trade school degree, or relevant work experience
- 3-5 years in engineering, facilities maintenance, or related fields
- Demonstrated experience managing or maintaining technical assets
Do you have what it takes to be an H E B Senior Asset Manager?
- Working knowledge of installation, operation, and maintenance of a specific asset class
- Functional knowledge of budgeting, expense tracking, and return on investment calculations
- Analytical and project management skills
- Verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Organization and time management skills
- Negotiating and influencing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities / tasks; attention to detail
- Ability to work complex issues with senior management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
