Role Overview
Contracts Associate will support the Companys document activities across all functions. The Role demands a detail-oriented professional, who enjoys working across functions to develop and execute documents that safeguard and enable the Companys growth. The Role reports to the CFO and offers career growth opportunities as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and execute (as needed) documents, including contracts and agreements.
- Maintain an accurate up to date document library and proactively manage effective dates.
- Ensure all executed documents are properly tracked and enforced.
- Proactively manage contract-related workflows across all functional areas.
- Timely and sensibly manage the contract execution processes.
- Use experience and common sense to proactively improve contracts.
- Develop and communicate KPIs.
- Assist as needed in projects and special document requests.
- Develop SOPs and apply continuous process and efficiency improvement.
Desired Qualifications
Have pride in your work.Ideally this person has completed undergraduate studies (e.g., B.Sc.) and is considering Law School.Prior experience in creation and administration of documents in a start-up corporate environment.Absolutely essential and non-negotiable attribute is attention to the smallest of details and perfection.Superb organizational skills to be able to simultaneously manage multiple tasks. You must be able to, for example, be pulled away in the middle of detailed document review for other task(s) and then be able to seamlessly pick-up where left off to flawlessly provide mistake-free legal binding documents.Excellent written and verbal skills to be able to embody the needs and demands of internal stakeholders in documents that will shape relationship(s) with outside parties.Adroit negotiator.Proficient in all the tools of the document management craft.Curious team player.
