Description :

The nurse will perform phone triage.

They will communicate results and diagnostic information.

They will process medication refills and prior authorizations.

They will place provider orders and assist providers with medical forms.

Care coordination will also be part of their duties.

The patient age groups include neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

There will be an expected number of visits per day.

The daily census will vary based on patient flow.

The nurse should be prepared to handle a range of patient diagnoses.

They will engage in patient teaching and perform assessments.

Communication with pharmacies for patient refill requests is required.

Scheduling patient appointments will also be a task.

The work environment is supportive, with interdisciplinary collaboration.

References will be needed from recent assignments or permanent positions.
