Charleston Nursing Job Details Location : Charleston, SC 29425 (South Carolina nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital Start Date : December 15, 2025 End Date : March 16, 2026 Contract Length : 13-week nursing contract Shift : 3x12-hour night shifts (19 : 00 – 07 : 30), 36 hours / week Estimated Weekly Salary : $1420–$1530 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Holiday Rotation : Required Floating : Required to med / surg floors at Main Hospital and Ashley River Tower Charting System : EPIC Scrub Color : Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal Blue bottoms Registered Nurse Qualifications Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State / Compact State Registered Nurse License (license in hand preferred; pending considered with proof of application) Minimum 2 years of recent Medical / Surgical RN experience BLS certification required Experience with adult patient populations in clinical settings Skills in isolation precautions, oxygen administration, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care, IV starts and maintenance, and rapid response / code teams Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients across various medical / surgical units as part of the float pool Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor patient progress Respond to rapid response and code situations as needed Document patient care accurately in the EPIC electronic health record system Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled Adapt to varying patient ratios and unit assignments in a fast-paced hospital environment Join our healthcare team in Charleston and experience the best of South Carolina nursing jobs while making a difference in patient care.
