Salary Range : $80,000 $110,000 annually

🕒 Schedule
Hours : MondayFriday, 7 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM
Typical Week : Four 10-hour field days, with Friday as an office day
Occasional Saturdays may be required based on project needs

🦺 Role Overview
The Regional Lead Safety Manager will report directly to the Safety Director and oversee safety operations across multiple project sites within Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland. This leadership role involves managing field safety teams, performing field and shop visits, ensuring compliance with OSHA and all relevant local, state, and federal regulations, and promoting a proactive culture of safety across all divisions.
🔧 Scope of Work
Lead and mentor safety teams across multiple project locations
Conduct field and shop inspections to assess conditions and safety practices
Drive consistent implementation of safety policies across all active projects
Collaborate closely with field leadership and project management to embed safety into every phase of work
📋 Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and training programs aligned with company and regulatory standards
Conduct routine site and shop inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments to identify and mitigate risks
Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; prepare reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Deliver safety training and education to employees, subcontractors, and site personnel
Lead toolbox talks and weekly safety meetings to reinforce safe practices
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field leaders to plan safety strategies for new and ongoing projects
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation including inspection findings, incident reports, and compliance records
Serve as the regional liaison for regulatory agencies and manage all required safety communications
Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and assist in regional risk management planning
Travel regionally up to approximately 75%
🎓 Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Safety, Environmental Health, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in safety management, environmental health, or risk management
ASP, CSP, or CHST certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 12 months of hire)
Proven experience in construction safety and regional / multi-site oversight preferred
