Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Float Medical Laboratory Scientist to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Burleson, TX 76028.

This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title : Float Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS / MLT)

Schedule : Monday - Friday 8 : 00 - 5 : 00 PM (40hrs / week)

Location : Burleson, TX 76028; DFW area – Must be able to travel to 5 sites (Arlington, Weatherford, Burleson, Granbury, Mesquite)

Pay Range : $35 - $41 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume

Mileage Reimbursement : Not provided

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform and analyze lab tests per SOPs; report and review results
• Follow procedures for specimen handling, QC, documentation, and maintenance
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety regulations
• Troubleshoot and document deviations; report critical results per protocol
• Maintain lab cleanliness, reagent tracking, and complete testing records
• Participate in training, meetings, and inspections as needed
• Provide customer service and cross-department communication
