Construction Project Manager

Construction Project Manager – High-Rise Projects | East Willison, NY

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of high-rise construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record managing complex, multi-story developments and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage day-to-day project operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of trades, subcontractors, and suppliers

Oversee high-rise projects from design development to final completion

Assist with estimation, bidding, and buyout processes alongside the PM team and estimators

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and local officials for approvals and inspections (RFIs, submittals, permits, etc.)

Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts for accuracy and execution

Communicate project status and progress to team and stakeholders, providing regular updates on milestones

Lead and mentor site teams, foremen, and junior project managers

Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years of construction management experience , including at least 3 years managing high-rise projects (10+ stories)

Strong knowledge of New York construction codes, zoning, and permitting processes

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred

Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)

Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills

OSHA 30 certification required ; PMP or CCM certification a plus
