Job Title
Support the acquisition and life-cycle support of the Trident II (D5) Strategic Weapons Systems and U.K. Submarines.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the acquisition and life-cycle support of the Trident II (D5) Strategic Weapons Systems and U.K. Submarines.
- Be involved in the Submarine build with logistics planning, policy instruction updates, adjudication of findings from audits and evaluations, and performance of required reviews.
- Formulate and implement policy related to acquisition of U.K. supply system stock and allowances, inventory management, pricing criteria and issue authority for U.S. supply system material.
- Formulate and implement policy related to requisition processing, allowance documentation, repair support, budgeting and disposal.
- Conduct review of procedures established to implement policy to ensure adequate support is provided to the U.K. and to identify problem areas and associated corrective actions.
- Determine the resource requirements for government and contractor technical services, procurement of supply system material and test equipment, and transportation.
- Participate in Logistics Exchanges (LOGEX) attended by senior logistics personnel, which are comprehensive program reviews designed to review current status and to assist in future planning.
- Direct physical inventory and validation of equipment in U.K. operating spaces against the associated maintenance and allowance documentation.
- Plan, budget and monitor expenditures for the outfitting, replenishment, and replacement of U.K. Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) as approved by SSP. Provides logistics support for TMDE as identified in SSP Policy documents.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : supporting the acquisition and life-cycle support of a major weapons system and the ability to interpret import / export laws and regulations as well as basic knowledge of budgeting, transportation, procurement, allowance documents and inventory management concepts.
