JOB SUMMARY:

As an Advanced Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for managing vendor accounts, ensuring timely A/P processes, and resolving invoice-related issues with accuracy and efficiency. This role demands a proactive approach to maintain effective relationships with vendors and an aptitude for leveraging technology to streamline accounting processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Manage EDI invoice troublebox maintenance efficiently.
• Conduct thorough credit memo review and research.
• Create shortage and/or pricing claims as needed.
• Acquire and finalize vendor statements and reconciliation.
• Ensure swift response to vendor communications and acquire necessary proof of delivery.

Must have Skills

• 1+ years of AP (Accounts Payable) experience.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook and Advanced Excel.
• Ability to adapt and efficiently manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Industry Experience Required:

Experience in a role leveraging analytics tools (R, SAS, Tableau - preferred) and some familiarity with Python is advantageous. A background in environments that require dealing with ambiguity and fast-paced operational demands is essential.
