Orthopedics - Spine Physician Assistant

An orthopedic practice in Fort Myers, FL is looking to add a full time certified Physician Assistant. The PA will work 1 : 1 with a fellow trained ortho spine physician to treat patients in the OR and clinic. Monday-Friday schedule, some call requirements. Previous experience in orthopedics is required.

Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a physician
• Conduct physical examinations and obtain medical histories
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Prescribe medications and therapies
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and their families about healthcare management and disease prevention
