Job Overview :
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team. In this role, you will support students with communication disorders by providing assessment, intervention, and consultative services. The ideal candidate will have experience in school settings and a commitment to student growth and success.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Provide direct therapy to students individually or in small groups.
Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals.
Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions.
Stay current with best practices and legal requirements related to special education and speech-language services.
Qualifications :
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Valid state licensure and / or certification (SLP license and / or teaching credential as required by the state).
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates may be considered.
Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative educational environment.
