Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Field Service Representative. This role is located out of Grapevine, TX.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $67,500 - $99,000 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What You'll Do
- Work on assigned projects for electrical equipment
- Deliver technical solutions to customers
- Perform less conventional complex engineering assignments that may involve equipment or product design, testing of materials, process studies, or research investigations
- Display proficiency in the following : Test Equipment Operation, Troubleshooting Techniques, Protective Relays, Power Quality Measurements, Disaster Recovery, Rotating Machinery, Protection & Control Design
- Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties

Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent or higher with minimum 2 years of electrical or mechanical industry experience, or in lieu of HS diploma or GED, completion of accredited trade school and / or program completion with 5 or more years of experience evaluating and servicing electrical distribution or control systemsMust be able to work in the US without corporate sponsorship now or in the futureNo relocation offered, candidates within 50-mile radius considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitationMust have a valid driver's licensePreferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institutionMinimum of 1 year of field service evaluating and servicing electrical distribution or control systemsElectrical or General Contractor's LicenseProfessional Engineering LicenseExperience in testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systemsExperience performing power quality measurements, troubleshooting, analysis as well as protective relaysNICET / NETA certificationSkills / Position Success Criteria
Successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton's safety program and policy; this includes role-applicable portions of the EESS Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) program and any required annual re-certifications thereafterSubmit to periodic customer required background and drug screeningsMust have the ability to work variable hours, including nights & weekends, and travel within the district / state / region / country based on customer requirementsThis position requires you to drive an Eaton vehicleMust be able and willing to obtain Department of Transportation (DOT) non-CDL qualification and comply with all DOT regulatory requirements, if requiredUnderstands 3-phase power systems and low, medium, and high voltage power distribution equipmentPractices electrical safety measuresPerforms physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; may require driving extended distances and working in extreme weather and conditionsAbility to obtain and maintain a valid TWIC cardProficient with hand and power tools for equipment assemblyStrong computer skillsStrong problem-solving and logical thinking skillsWorks well under time constraints and in stressful situationsExplain technical problems and solutionsCollaborates effectively with the team to meet project deadlinesEqual Opportunity
