Overview
Lead CT Tech / Full Time-Days / Miami Valley North at Premier Health Partners. The Lead Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is responsible for coordinating all duties associated with the CT department, maintaining staffing levels at budgeted levels, and providing information to the supervisor regarding daily operations, program development, and staff evaluations. The role may include on-call responsibilities and may involve performing procedures in other imaging modalities or at other facilities based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all duties associated with the CT department and maintain staffing at budgeted levels.
- Provide the supervisor with timely information on daily operations and contribute to program and procedure development and staff evaluations.
- Deal with direct reports effectively and hold others accountable.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, including quality assurance testing.
- Independently perform CT procedures using proper techniques and administration of contrast media.
- Operate within the scope of practice and in accordance with licensure requirements for medications administration, equipment operation, and venipuncture.
- Coordinate patient flow and activities of the CT scanner; exercise professional judgment to maintain equipment in good working condition.
- May perform procedures in other imaging modalities or at other facilities based on departmental needs; may have on-call responsibilities.
