Part-Time Medical Assistant

Hiring Immediately

Join our team and help us in our mission to provide access to high quality health care for all.

We are seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for patient care.  Shifts are 8 : 45 – 12 : 30 TWTH, 12 : 30 – 2 : 00 Tuesdays and an optional Monday evening 6 : 00 – 9 : 00 shift.

Responsibilities :

  • Clinical Duties :

Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration rate)

  • Administer medications as prescribed by the physician
  • Perform phlebotomy (blood draws)
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
  • Assist with minor clinical procedures as directed
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
  • Administrative Duties :

    • Schedule and confirm patient appointments

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed

    • Qualifications :

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred
  • Experience in phlebotomy required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong proficiency in both English and one other language,(Spanish, Arabic, French) preferred but not required.
