Manager Electrical
Oversee the daily operations of the Electrical Assembly work center. This includes directing personnel and special processes, managing administrative tasks, implementing process improvements for enhanced efficiency and quality, controlling raw materials, optimizing safety, and ensuring adherence to scheduled delivery requirements.
Manage Electrical, ESD, Testing and compound molding processes. Controlling and optimizing work and workloads in the electrical assembly process. Make recommendations to improve production methods, performance, equipment and quality of product. Analyze and resolve work problems and utilize collaboration for resolving problems, to include direct reports. Define processes as well as resources needed for the timely output of products. Ensure the consistent quality of production. Interface with other departments to ensure customer order deadlines are met. Manage personnel regarding performance, evaluations, conduct and compliance. Interviewing, hiring, training and mentoring personnel. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment. Develop subordinates' skills, encourage growth and mentor future leadership. Perform other duties as assigned and / or needed.
Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a four-year college or technical school, along with three to five years of related experience and / or training, or a comparable combination of education and experience. Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. Analyze and interpret technical procedures, drawings, specifications, and government regulations. Write routine reports and correspondence effectively. Communicate effectively in front of groups, whether they are customers or employees. Utilize common sense and understanding to execute instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Handle problems that involve variations in standardized situations. Demonstrate basic skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access). Be familiar with MRP / ERP software, with knowledge of SAP ERP software considered a plus. Have previous experience in troubleshooting and assembling military mechanical and / or electromechanical equipment.
Work in a manufacturing and / or machining environment. Fast-paced with movement of people and parts. Moderate to medium noise levels in the work environment. Potential exposure to odors from chemicals and / or processes. Physically demanding work. Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.
Base Salary Range (Inglewood only) : $130,000 to $150,000.
