Primary Responsibilities for the Analyst - Maintenance Data & Cost :

• Maintain a business partner relationship with Maintenance and Production Department leadership teams to ensure proper management and accounting controls for over $50 million of spend.
• Assist in managing and coordinating inventory support functions including consignment, vendor managed inventory (VMI), and Carpenter owned inventory.
• Assist in analyzing actual maintenance costs.
• Assist in implementing and designing process improvement initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining current maintenance information systems including SAP and SAS PC. Research problems and work to find appropriate solutions.
• Work closely with Procurement, Production, Maintenance, Finance, other end-users System Support Personnel & Vendors.
• Provide adequate controls and safeguards over supplies inventory accounting.
• Work closely with Director of Finance to ensure accuracy and efficiency of supplies inventory accounting processes, including compliance with Sarbanes Oxley provisions and other financial policies and procedures.
• Recommend cost saving opportunities.
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
