Position Description

A CVOR Tech is needed to support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a high-acuity operating room environment. The position requires strong technical skills attention to detail and experience working in a dynamic surgical setting. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 06 : 00 to 16 : 30 .

Requirements

Required Certifications & Licensure :

Certification from NBSTSA

Active CST credential

AHA BLS certification

Experience :

Minimum 1 year of CVOR Tech experience

Call & Scheduling Requirements

Required to take at least two call shifts per week

Must take 12 weekends of call every 6-week schedule depending on department needs

Potential for overtime days each week

Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks

All RTO must be submitted at the time of submission; approval based on facility needs

Pending license : Not accepted

Hospital & Work Environment

Parking : Free

Floating : May be required to float to other qualified surgical units or campuses based on census and operational needs

Vaccination Requirements

Flu Vaccine : Required (no exemptions permitted)
