Position : Phlebotomist

Department : Laboratory

Location : Cass City, MI

Hours : Full-Time. Full Benefits.

Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a Phlebotomist within our laboratory department. We are looking for those who have a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are constantly striving to provide the highest quality of services for our patients.

REQUIREMENTS :

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Certificate of Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant education
• Previous phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Registered phlebotomist : Subsequent ASCP or equivalent certification is required within 6 months of hire.

RESPONSIBILITIES : This position is proficient in all areas of the pre-analytical phase of testing : including positive patient identification, confirmation and entering of lab orders, diagnosis codes, fax distribution, specimen procurement and specimen processing.
