Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,146 per week at Regional Hospital of Scranton summary :

The Travel Nurse RN specializes in providing care within the Emergency Department, demonstrating critical thinking and leadership skills. With a focus on high acuity cases, the nurse is responsible for patient safety and care delivery while supervising and directing assigned personnel. This role requires experience in emergency services and a commitment to maintaining clinical competencies.

Travel ER RN

Start : ASAP

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Nights, 7p - 7a, Holiday and weekend rotation

Charge Nurse experience preferred

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.

The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Job Requirements

3 years experience in emergency services or 1-2 years experience in high acuity, busy ER dept preferred

Charge Nurse experience preferred

Schedule Information

Nights, 7p - 7a

Holiday and weekend rotation
