Overview
The Fixed Equipment Reliability Engineer is the site subject matter expert for tanks, vessels, piping, and other fixed equipment. This role ensures mechanical integrity, supports inspections, repairs, and improvement projects, and drives long-term reliability plans to meet SHE, regulatory, and operational goals.
Fixed Equipment Mechanical Reliability Engineer Chemical Plant Experience highly preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with INEOS Life Saving Rules , SHE standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor inspection & integrity programs aligned with API, ASME, and other industry standards
- Provide technical guidance, design assurance, and root cause analysis for fixed equipment issues.
- Collaborate with Asset Care, Inspection, and TAR teams on maintenance, repair, and turnaround planning.
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve reliability and reduce costs.
- Review mechanical design for capital projects and ensure compliance with site standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).3+ years' experience in reliability or engineering support in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of industry standards (API, ASME, ASTM, OSHA, etc.) and SAP Plant Maintenance.Proven ability to improve fixed equipment reliability using preventive and predictive methodologies.Details
