Job description

At Doral Health & Wellness, we are committed to providing integrated, interdisciplinary health services to the New York community. Our innovative medical facility is dedicated to the health and well-being of our patients, and we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our team on a PRN / per diem basis.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform and record blood testing results in patients’ homes, including height and weight.
  • Conduct blood testing, including finger stick and / or venipuncture blood draws.
  • For candidates with proven venipuncture experience, perform draws in a fast-paced environment during screening events as needed.
  • Prepare specimens for storage or additional processing.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records for all laboratory transactions in accordance with department and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications :

  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
  • Experience processing samples.
  • Certification from a recognized national agency (AMT, ASCP, or NCCT preferred).
  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
  • Must have a vehicle to travel to patients' homes.
  • Able to pass a standard background check.

    • Compensation (Per Visit) :

  • Standard Blood Draw : $30.00
  • Urine Collection : $5.00
  • Retina View (Retinal Imaging / Screening) : $15.00
  • Colorectal Sample Pick-up : $10.00
