This respected facility is currently seeking a Surgical Services Supervisor to join their dedicated team.

Our client is a community-centered hospital in Kennewick, WA, offering a comprehensive range of services including surgical, emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care. With 111 beds, the hospital serves as a trusted healthcare provider for families across the Tri-Cities area. Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily staff activities for assigned areas or functions
  • Determine, coordinate, and oversee daily staffing assignments and coverage levels
  • Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff
  • Participate in performance evaluations and assist with disciplinary actions as needed
  • Assess and ensure the quality of services delivered while facilitating staff development programs
  • Ensure staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Perform staff responsibilities as needed to maintain required service levels
  • Lead the resolution of complex issues, concerns, and complaints
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA)
  • Apply policies and procedures effectively and maintain knowledge of business office standards and recommended practices

Requirements

  • Current state Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree from an accredited nursing school
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience
