A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant I.
Key Responsibilities
Responds to inquiries from producers and home office personnel, providing information as needed
Processes endorsements, cancellations, and general policy changes while assisting in training co-workers and agents
Binds new business and supports both new business and renewal underwriters
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience in an office environment with the ability to multi-task under pressure
Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to analyze and process diverse information
Prior work experience in the insurance industry is preferred
