As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol Driver in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. You will play a key part in fostering a welcoming environment, upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. This position requires a valid drivers license as you may be responsible for driving during your patrols.

What Youll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment for customers and staff.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure atmosphere.

Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.

Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific procedures.

Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and interacting with customers and staff as appropriate.

Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as outlined by Allied Universal and client site policies.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR or first aid is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
