Accountant In Property Accounting

- Drive the accounting and reporting for Target Properties, including accruals, reclasses, accounting corrections and disclosures.
- Support the Lease Accounting team by reviewing leases, booking journal entries and assisting with researching reconciliations and analyzing monthly balances.
- Develop strong relationships and provide client support to Properties and Lease Accounting business partners.
- Drive innovation and analytics to improve processes
About You :
Four-year degree in Accounting and 2 - 3 years of related experienceStrong accounting skills, knowledge of GAAP related to lease asset accountingStrong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas) and ability to work with large datasets.Strong PC and systems experienceHighly detail-orientedExcellent communication, problem solving, organization and analytical skillsHigh level of initiative and ability to work independentlyAbility to effectively communicate and positively interact with various levels of management and business partnersDesired Requirements :
Exposure to ASC 842 lease accounting conceptsAbility to interpret contracts and summarize key financial informationSAP general ledger and related reporting tools (AFO, BW)Intermediate to advance experience working with Microsoft ExcelExperience working with large and complex datasets and analysisThis position will operate as a Hybrid / Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs.
