Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training in security-related matters. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and to observe and report any suspicious behavior. Monitor access points and verify the credentials of personnel entering restricted areas within the chemical or petrochemical location. Assist with the enforcement of site rules and policies to help to deter violations and maintain order within the environment. Prepare detailed reports documenting incidents, observations, and security-related activities conducted during the shift. Collaborate with Allied Universal leadership and local emergency responders as required for incident management and / or emergency response. Maintain awareness of potential hazards specific to chemical or petrochemical facilities and respond appropriately according to procedures. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least six months of security-related experience. Must possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA. Must have a valid Armed Guard Card or License as required by applicable laws and regulations. Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Lake Charles, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, as you remain actively visible throughout the property and respond promptly to incidents. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, working together to create a secure environment and uphold our commitment to integrity and putting people first.

What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
